Torque converter identification
« on: September 16, 2013 - 04:31:20 PM »
Can someone tell me if there is any way to identify a torque converter?  I got it years ago and forgot what it is. It is for a 727 about 11” in diameter and has a large 0 stamped on the outside diameter and on the face that bolts to the flex plate. It also has the numbers 6289 and 692 stamped on it.
Thanks!

Looks like a stock small bowl torque converter that would be behind a 318
