Trans crossmember difference
« on: September 16, 2013 - 07:37:31 PM »
My trans crossmember is kind of hacked up so i will get a new one.
Brewers webpage lists 2 versions, 70-72 and 73-74. Anyone knows the difference between these 2?

And on the side:

The four mounting holes are different spacing...The newer ones are narrower...

TIP: When looking at a 1970-71 E Body that you suspect might have been rebodied using a newer shell....Always check the tranny crossmember because the whole crossmember is different as well as the mount.
I've taught you everything you know.....but I haven't taught you everything I know !
