wiper blades
« on: September 16, 2013 - 08:46:59 PM »
Hello,

Its time to put my wipers on and was wondering what to do about the wiper blades. I have a 74 challenger. the arms say anco on them. Can I get the rubber pieces so I don't have to use the newer blades? It looks like I could slide the rubber peice on if they sell them.

I use a very affordable subsitute for the expensive Anco turtlebacks....

NAPA sells a line of "Classic" blades that are a dull silver metal like the originals and look pretty good in my opinion. :2cents:

Thanks! Thats what I had in mind. I don't need correct nos blades, just vintage looking. I didn't want to use the new black plastic ones.

NAPA used to be the place to find the inserts unless something has changed.

Dave at Roseville got me fixed up with new wipers. They look good! Can't remember what the cost was, it was a few years ago now.

Ooops...I stand corrected..I just check my stock...Everything I have is marked with "my cost"...The wiper blades cost me $29.57 for the pair.....these are A&B Body ones though.....they were the same price as E Body ones. I hope there hasn't been a major cost increase, 'cause I'm all out of E Body ones :pullinghair:
