    I had those wheels on my 73 Charger! They didn't clear coat them back in they day. Talk about every other day polishing them by hand to make them shiney! WoW! EVERY vane by hand. If a dog peed on them, forget it! lol. MAN! they were a LOT of work to keep looking shiney.

    I helped a friend paint his High rise Toyota truck with tractor tires for a show. We used scrunched up aluminum foil to obtain a cool effect on his highlights. He won a trophy out of it for best paint at the time, lol. It was just a couple of guys in a garage.

    A friend of mine bought this car a few years ago. It was first in class at the 1971 Cleveland Auto Rama. He sold it to someone in Canada & they were going to restore it back to the original B5.

    Man, restored cars are cool but that paint must've taken a lot of time to do.  Shame to take it off...

    "The Red 70 Hemi Challenger with the Cragars is actually a picture that I took that someone else has sent you. It belonged to a friend and the picture was taken at England’s Santa Pod drag strip (old USAF ww2 air base). It was an original FC7 Plum Crazy, Hemi 4-speed car. It was restored to original spec in the 80’s by another friend, and returned to the USA many years ago now…. hope this is of interest : )) Some of the stories behind the pictures must be fascinating…
