when u saw the shelby, did u think u could fit a tire with rim in there?

Tire and rim in where?  The back?   There was a spare in the back of the Daytona Cobra coupe. 
1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

On the monkee's video. The bad guy rolls the tire out of the inside of the car.

There is an area above the gas tank that holds a spare tire.  As for the video, there's no way he could have accessed it that easily unless it was on the passenger seat.

In the last pic it wudda been cool if that painted area right in front of the scoops had engine call outs painted there.
