Indicator bulbs between heater control and steering column?
« on: September 21, 2013 - 10:28:21 PM »
I have a 1970 'cuda with rally gauges, 3 switches on top left. When I bought it, there was a disconnected bulb sitting where the 4th switch would be in a 4 switch cluster.

There were also two indicator bulbs between the heater controls and steering column, side by side but slightly offset.  They were also disconnected.  My '70 challenger r/t doesn't have any of those bulbs.  I just saw another r/t on eBay, and it has the two holes to the left of the steering column, in the exact location as the bulbs in my cuda.  Can anyone tell me what these bulbs are for? I assume they are aftermarket add ons because I can't find them on any diagrams in manuals or elsewhere.

I saw two challengers on ebay today with the same dash holes.  One of them had a toggle switch and indicator light in the holes.  Both cars were automatics.  I thought the only use for line locks was in manual trannys at drag strips?  It does look like a line lock, though.

We need CSI: Mopar.
