New Challenger
« on: April 02, 2005 - 11:49:41 AM »
I just picked this up and got back on Monday night. The guy I bought it from owned it since 74 and really took care of it. It's a real deal T/A with 55K and a 4 speed EV2 car. I need to put the Rallye wheels and stripes back on it and it could use some slight paint work. I bought this car over the web and went I showed up I couldn't believe how solid it was. I've posted some photo's below which are the one's I bought it from. I haven't taking a new ones but I will later today. Sorry if the photos are low quality.

BTW - I had two build sheet with the car one of them is for another T/A. I'll be sending the sheet to Barry Washington on Monday but here's the info incase someone knows the car. JH23J0B296549

Chances are very good it'll be there ! The car isn't perfect but it's not bad for a 35 year unrestored car. Thanks April !

First off.....BADASS, I love it.....I would leave the cragars and just add the stripe, but thats because I love cragars. You say its an original Hemi Orange car, but why is the firewall black?? I hope to see more pictures of it when you tie up the loose ends. Good luck

Thanks guys !

Killer Mopar the engine bay was blacked out by the last owner. He thought the car would look better that way and didn't understand the whole original thing at that time. The black is coming off in areas so you can see the Hemi Orange under there. I'm also considering leaving the cragars on for now. I relly didn't think I would like them but they look much better in person. I may do a poll on that one. :dontknow:

You lucky dog!!  The car looks really solid....great find!  I'd leave the Cragars...but I'm kind of partial to them.

Thanks everyone ! Also thanks for the advice on the wheels. I think I'm going to leave them on for at least the summer since I need to restore the Rallyes. I didn't think I would really like them but they are really growing on me.
