:iagree: but only if there is proof that it`s real and verified legit by the "experts".There was a `70 convertible pilot car that had the vin switched and it was a real god job, even fooled some of those experts.Just be sure the vin matches the stamped cowl and radiator support numbers and hopefully it has a fender tag and a biuld sheet. There is also the possibility the vin is a typo and it`s nothing special. If you can take someone with you it will help to have another set of eyes and an unbiased opinion so you don`t get all excited   and overlook things.

where is the stamped cowl numbers located and the core support numbers. Burpin will check it. The guy said he even had the original window sticker when the car was bought. Burpin will be carefull. and not work out a deal until after posting pics and the information on the car. We can do this together.

Burpin,
The cowl has 2 of those plastic grills on top of it. The numbers are stamped by the one on the driver's side.

Burpin I truly hope this is the real deal ! I know your are aware of what to look for but in the height of excitment just remember, It may be a hemi but not orginal, the main thing is that the vin, block, and fender tag match in those numbers. Legally a vin cannot be altered, but fender replacements along with the fender tag is not uncommon. Although it is unlikely that someone who had a hemi fender with tag would sell it to be placed so to speak on a 318 car, which then had a Hemi dropped in, not an orignal of course but a clone, but a clone can only be a clone if one was made to begin with, right? So the question is, did they make a 1972 Hemi Cuda? Ah, back to square one. And now that I have even more confused you............sincerely, best of luck my Mopar friend !   -Jim

I honestly think it is a 70 or 71, this man is in his 70s or 80s and real hard to talk too and burpin is thinking he isnt firing on all cylinders. but this is the week.

Aww, come on! You lead us on this whole time about 72 Hemi this and 72 Hemi that, but after all that it's only going to be a 71!?! Just for that, YOU DON'T DESERVE THAT CAR!!! :stomp: Give it to me. :grinyes:

Burpin talked to him tonight and he was leaving for the hospital in the morning. He wants me to call him thursday night to arrange time, he jokeinly said he hopes he makes it till then. Burpin said Burpin hopes till at least we can work out a deal, we both laughed and hung up.
