« on: September 23, 2013 - 10:39:31 PM »
I first posted about how to id. shaker hoods and the need for photos that show details of the factory hoods  in the body section. then after seeing many helpful post in the archives section which included  PHOTOS of factory parts , I thought oh no, I posted in the body section but I don't want to know about the reproduced AMD hoods sooo, I removed the post and thought I posted in a more proper place .......who knows where is best ??? only  the shadow knows .......EK.

I don't know of too many posts that get locked unless you are counting the moved threads?   The mods try to keep things organized and move to proper sections at their discretion  . . . If you posted about shaker hood questions, I would think it belongs in the body shop area.  If someone else had questions about shaker hoods . . . They should or would look in the body shop area.

It is only polite that we put a moved thread so the original poster can find what area it was moved to.  Those threads are locked since it is of no benefit for members to post in the moved thread.  They are typically deleted after awhile as they do not benefit the site.

yea I was talking about the moved ones [threads]. I was not asking about the hood as much as for documentation or " photos " of the factory hoods to learn the ways to id the real ones. the archives have tons of detailed photos of body parts and that seems to fit the question best [ at least I thought so] :dunno: :clueless:
