Slavage yards or parts heavan
« on: April 02, 2005 - 12:18:53 PM »
I have noticed on occasion that some of the members post a thread that talks about a salvage yard they have found with Mopars. I am thinking that it would be a good idea to have these threads stored under a section by themselves that way when members are looking for parts sources they could go to this section and possible find places that may be close to them. It would of course be a good idea to have a name address and phone number included with each thread.

Same here ...they had a Beautify Iowa Campaign going and it felt like their slogan was " Find a Mopar and crush it "

These salvage yards could also be posted in the links section. Stephensperfomance.com is one, and I'm sure there are many other Mopar yards out there. Anyway, I don't think we need a special section for junk yards. Just my $.02 worth.

I agree with the hubby and MEK on this one.  Although it would be nice to have a place with some links posted, I don't see why we would have to have a complete seperate section for junk yards, salvage yards, etc.  The neglected/part mopars seems just fine to me.  I too think it would be a good idea to add some links to the links page (or we can even sticky a post at the top of the neglected/parts mopar section with the info.)
