Look what I was crazy enough to drive home
« on: September 26, 2013 - 07:48:49 PM »

A 3.5 hour danger ride from MI to my house with a very sloppy Inland shifter, manual drums, and lap belts.    It made it without any real issues (other than no AC and no gauges).

Yeah she needs a few things...but don't they all.

Probably a few weeks of wrenching on her will have it much more drivable.

Ooohhh! a '68, my favourite Charger. Now you've got 2 runners and the jealousy quotient is gettin' kinda steep. Congrats on a nice score! :clapping:

This is it at a friends house in MI before taking off on the danger ride.  The previous owner never used the parking brake so I chocked it just to be sure.  It does seem to be working.

Nice car! I'd only had my licence a couple of years and was in Grand Bend one summer's day when a dark green metallic, black gator roofed and black interior Hemi 4 spd lumped by- and I've never been the same since. It was love- or maybe lust, at first sight. Good on you!

That's a nice ride!!!!  :bananasmi
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realize it doesn't say anything it's to late to stop reading it.
