welcome even tho im a  :newbie:  why did you spring for low compression pistons?  70/71 would have been funner for the hillbilly runner.

Unfortunately I'm not a motor guy....(if you couldn't tell by my tractor extraction). I wasn't sure what I had.....and still don't.... :banghead:.....I was told that they were the high compression ones..... :dunno:.....I had the machine work done.....a lunati cam put in with the heads done to work with the hotter cam.... It's bored .30 so I'm told...I figured they couldn't be the stock 73 ones....I really don't know......I have never driven the car or heard it run....the bottom end was toast when I got it...that's just great :pullinghair:.....well it might end up slow but that's so the chicks can check out my big pistol grip as they pass me in their civics

Nice!
With what you have so far,  how much do you think the '70 nose job is going to end up costing?
  lawdog

How is that colour choice going?  Lol.

Hey Scott!  Well you know me...I switch colors more than Bruce Jenner changes panties!!  I decided on making a emax clone...soooo yellow it is....for this week anyway!  Well as long as my wife doesn't see this post...here is what I have in the parts so far

Grill and side marker lights $500
Ta hood...$425 (still trying to see if it's an origional)
Tail lights...$340
Good fenders$400

I've gotten lucky and found nice stuff from great sellers!

Luckily the stuff off of my 72 was nice...I basically sold I all of it and bought the 70 stuff minus the hood....I still need the rear valance (no cut outs), headlight bezels, and tail light panel...and the patches for the rear side marker lights...I'm sure I'm missing a bunch of little things

I'm actually selling my excursion to free up some money to get her finished....

I'm working on getting the front done and working back...a friend has a engine stand to help me break in the motor...but that's this winter....

Here is when you can get the lights? https://www.interlight.biz/light-bulb/4412A

I got mine from there. You will need to slightly notch the bucket and make a simple wiring harness but other than that it's a easy swap.

Hotchkis had clearance issues with the TA exhaust running under their subframe connectors.  I believe they removed it for a while and eventually went to a flat tip and bent the exhaust pipe around the subframe connector.

I believe it, their sub frame connectors hang down very low.
