crocha617 & dutch: Thank you gentlemen. It really was a great car. I wish the new care taker a lot of enjoyment with it. It would be fantastic if all the cars had that much original documentation..... :bigshades:

Alan, Thanks. I am sure you would have appreciated the level that this car is/was. Any person that came to look at the car, I handed them a magnet and said, "here, check the car, everywhere".

Small for sale note on September 15 at a semi local car show at West Palm beach raceway. First advertisement listed September 27 and it sold on October 5.
There was money left on the table, if you think in 4 year ago prices. A very fair price in todays market at $40,000 USD for what it is.

A man came by to look yesterday. He spent 15 minutes looking it over and bought the car. He was exceptionally
pleased and didn't even haggle on price. Had cash with him. It really was a great car.

Magnet test is impressive however your rear marker lights are installed incorrectly. You have the right side light on the left side and vise versa.... :2cents: Good thing you sold the car  :smilielol:

Very observant.
This is how the car was when new. Based on the original owner photographs when car was new. Also additional pictures, still in their same locations when the car was 15 years old. (It is possible that someone removed them and mixed them up.) It had already been sitting for a long time at that 15 year point. Still un-touched except the engine and transmission were pulled at ~34,000 miles. It sat for a long, long, long time after the initial engine pull.
Yes. I put them back as the original car was built.

But thank you for your observation. There are three other items on that car, which didn't follow the "norm" when it comes to what we accept as correct. I put them all back as they were from new.
Not many people would notice these things. I have no doubt that your astute eye would definitely see it.

Alan, if you were discussing this car with Sergio, thank you. He was interested.

It's quite possible they were mixed up at the factory who knows ? Still a great car, I'm glad you got what you needed out of the car.

P.S. I was speaking with a collector from Western Canada, not Sergio :2cents: .

Oh, how I wished....

So, now I am really curious as to what else was installed differently than the "norm" on the car.??
