Doesn't everything at Barrett-Jackson go for inflated prices? It must be that special lighting they use.  :grinyes:

:dontknow: Yep, we are willing to do about anything to have that most special Mopar. But in all respect I've come to the concluison that the "inflated" prices of B/J are in direct proportion to the inflated egos of the "richest of the rich". Now they can not only possess the elete of muscle cars, but they can also blantantly boast of how much they were willing to pay for it, and the B/J sales slip is proof. And that slip is probably carried around in the glove campartment of the car or framed and hung on some wall in their home. It's like, "Looky at me, looky what I got, looky how much", "I'm special !"

Beleive me, I'm not jealous ! Even if I won the lottery I wouldn't be willing to pay those kind of prices, now on the other hand the guy selling is all  :grinyes: .

I hate to say it, but when I see these prices it makes me smile to know that I can sell a car and pay off my mortgage, and still have
a 71 cuda and 70 chally.  It does make me fell bad for those that want but can't afford, but that was me in my youth.

no such thing as toooo many
Why are the only other cars on the road all in my rear view mirror?  Oh yeah cause I got a 440/6 pack

Thank you GOD for the "Go Fast Division"

Why if I may ask are Cudas more highly regarded than the Challengers?

Because they were lighter, and shorter?
Because they look a little meaner?
Because they don't have the semi-luxo styling?
Or is it because the fenders look better? What?

Just wondering.... :coffee:

Yeah, Ghost has a point.   If we see Don Johnson driving an R/T in some new show "Miami Slice"  maybe we'll see huge money going for Challengers

Last two years.. 70 Cuda verts really picking up steam. Thing is There were alot of vert challys made compared to 70 cudas.. & and much mre than the 71's. Because of this.. you can get better value for a BB cloned chally vert.

I've heard alot of these guys go to the auctions in groups & pick out cars they want.. so the other crew members don't bid up the car & get it cheaper than if they didn't know each other. They do this at the auctions in Fla etc.. where you really see alot of value deals.. then they sell them at the bigger shows.. like in Vegas & hope for that one sucker w/ cash. It's mostly a game.. of  da rich..
