Can anyone give me the length from the end of column tube to end of splined connector?
I can estimate from there what the shaft length is.

The reasone why I'm asking is that when I re built my steering column, it collapsed in so I need to get the right length back out to where it was originally.

Mike my car is all together so I can't measure exactly what you're asking. It's a '73 Challenger with P/S if that makes a difference.
From the plastic piece at the bottom of the outer tube (don't see this in your picture) to the top of the coupler is 9" & to the end of the coupler is 12"

Perfect!
Thanks Wade.

A little bit of measuring on mine, and I should be able to adjust it to that.

Mike, mine measures 10 3/4".

Thanks Andy.

This brings up an interesting possibility.
Was that from end of column to end of coupler?

Are Challenger lengths different than Cuda's that had P/S?

That was from the end of the tube to the end of the shaft, just as you had marked with red arrows.

And I believe the steering columns interchange within e-bodies.
