found wrecked Hemi?
« on: April 03, 2005 - 01:02:50 PM »
Yesterday, I spotted a cuda that was badly wrecked. I had my camera with me and took some pictures of it.
I e-mailed them to Plum6Pak. He wrote me back after decoding the vin and said it may be a Hemi car.
I wasn't able to  locate the owner of it. All I found out was that he had no desire to sell it.

Sorry they aren't opening up. I'm still new with this  camera and the Kodak easyshare software.

I see them, but they aren't friendly to us dial-ups :banghead: Do you know if the engine is still there? That thing looks rough, to say the least.

Well with the license plate pics everyone is trying to locate who it is registered to in order to find it.  If you are interested in it you may want to ditch those particular pictures.

Nope, engine code is E55 on the tag... still a 340 car, though. (Hemi would be E74)

BTW- can someone shrink the pics by any chance? I had to download them so that I could look! :grinyes:

Thanks for the info Moparmatt. This will be the last time I post huge pics...I promise!! :banghead:
Plum6Pak had me all excited that it might be a Hemi car, so I didn't want to waste any time wanting to find out what it was.

Topcat, thanks for showing us that car.  Too bad he won't sell it because I'm sure someone may want to tackle it even with it being an original 340/727 car.

It hit something pretty hard but really not that bad to fix for a good frame guy although it would need a donor drivers side rail or maybe a whole front clip.Working in a body shop I`ve seen some bad wrecks made to new again-rollovers,front and rear clips are all pretty common.
