Nah...He's already jumped ship..
I figured this might be a Canadian oriented ship because it has a full size ice skating rink :grinno:

Worried about being sea sick. :puke:

Been on a few cruises, both large ships (Oasis) and smaller ones (Amsterdam).
Don't worry about seasickness.  Get a cabin near the middle of the ship and not on the highest deck and you will hardly notice any motion in anything except the heaviest of seas.

Take along some anti-nausea meds (Gravol) and don't be afraid to take them if things seem like they may get rough.  Candied Ginger also works wonders with nausea.  I was worried about the sugar on the Ginger, but realized we were eating and drinking like pigs so......   :roflsmiley:

Go for it, cruising is a different way to vacation.
It isn't for everyone, but it hooked me, and I had to be dragged kicking and screaming by my wife.  I'm glad she persevered.

I just booked the Allure today for March Break 2014 leaving FLA on March 9th.

This will be my fourth cruise, this time taking my two kids (11 & 9)...I hope there will be enough to keep them busy...

Funny thing is....I just told my travel agent I wanted a "big ship" and this is what she booked :22yikes:

Those ships are HUGE, nearly twice the size of the ship I was on last October and that ship was the largest in the world in 1997.
Cruising is cool, but the last time I went a lady went overboard and then we went through stormy seas from Hurricane Sandy which messed up our itinerary.

We did a cruise to all of the islands of Hawaii from Mexico.
2 weeks on the ship. Amazing voyage.

The crew highly recommended the Alaskan cruise. That's the one I want to do next.

That boat will be "rockin" for sure....

Unrelated, and maybe even a little gay, I once went on a Country& Western music themed cruise and had the best time ever...The famous people actually walked the ship and where real cool and approachable...Actually played beach volleyball with Kenny Chesney... :picture:    Hung out and drank with Terry Clark ....

Not gay.  That would be really cool.
The bands are supposed to be out in the open and approachable.
Bands on the beach too.

Anyway, Where is your cruise going?

The Alaskan cruise we went on was fantastic! Walked on a glacier, watched the sun set into the ocean and saw the green flash.   :walkaway:   Okay, looking for the phone to make reservations.
