original color of hood intake grills 73 Cuda

Hi All,

With ref to the 73 cuda sport hood dummy intakes, the 'grill' inserts, what color would they have been orginaly please, my car is a tripple black.

In your case everything left the factory black. The "finned" inserts themselves would be a satin or flat black.

Thanks team,
The previouse owner painted them silver so i'll take them back to satin or flat black happily.
he did also paint out the red trip in the grill to black. Looks ok black, the orignial red would have been ok but again on a Triple black it is the only red thing which does look odd.
