HELP
« on: October 18, 2013 - 12:59:41 AM »
I have a stock 727 trans on the back end of my 360 and out of no where lately i have been having issues where the car sticks in 2nd gear. it goes from first to 2nd then sticks there for a while till it gets warmed up. so i tore apart the guts of the tranny and cleaned everything up and then went back to the governor and cleaned that to make sure everything was in working order. im coming up clueless and could use any input.

Have you adjusted the bands? And checked line pressure. I'm no trans expert but that seems to be the common
areas to check first. Maybe Terry will see this and chime in.  Good Luck
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Sometimes an incorrect fluid will make the plates stick together and hold gear. Check that you are also using the correct trans fluid. :2thumbs:
