Dropped off the new wheels this morning and found the car to be 90% assembled!
Some other minor surprises:
Rear tail stripe is done. I asked for it to be done in glossy black but they did it in satin black... I think it works better this way anyways as the lip spoiler is satin black and the hood decal is satin black as well.
Oh ya, that hood decal from YearOne when it was unrolled it was stuck together so it was damaged. Probably old decals sitting on the shelf too long. So I should go back to YearOne and complain I guess.
The shop guys decided to just paint the area instead (no pics)
Also they have to bring in some windshield guys to take out the windshield as the molding clips were screwed in under the windshield and they look to be the wrong clips. I noticed the molding had sit kinda high and there were patch jobs done in the area under the windshield in the past. Possibly from this molding not sitting right and water getting in there.
I was happy to hear one guy mention something about the low rear end. No one else seemed to notice it before except me and this other guy. I said I wanted little to no wheel tuck. Kinda like the way the T/A version sits. He said no problem, he'll remove the leafs and bend/compress them with some machine they have. No more than 2" up.
