I just got back from a trip to Europe, and on the first day there (Friday, October 4) in Basel Switzerland what do my ears hear but the rumble of a Mopar big block! Across the intersection was a beautiful Vitamin C Orange, white vinyl top, 1970 Challenger R/T (and S/E from the quick glance I got as it went below sight).
Does it belong to any of our members here?
The only other old Mopar I saw was a 78-79 Cordoba 400 in Schaffhausen Switzerland. Saw lots (for Europe anyway) modern Chrysler products (PT cruises, Crossfires, a 300 Touring Wagon, Dakota 4x4, older 300M) and several new Camaro's, a Mustang GT/CS, a Corvette). It was interesting to see those compared against the backdrop of so many fuel efficient 4 bangers. but at 1.50 euro per litre (about $7.66 per gallon) I understand why!
