Are these worth anything?

I pulled these off my challenger when I cloned it to a T/A challenger. IT's the trim that goes along the character lines and one rocker panel trim.

Yes. It fell off over time I guess.

I think those side moulding trims are V5X code on a vin plate. were they held on with screws or studs???

Studs. The trim had plastic inserts in them. They came off my 74 challenger.

I think depending on the year they were held on different ways.  My '72 partly at least has spring clips.

There's a new guy that has a burn orange Challenger convertible that is looking for a drivers front fender body side molding.

those trim pieces are extremely hard to come by in any condition. my '72 challenger had them originally.
when i started to restore the car i was going to eliminate them because my original pieces were trash. but i was lucky enough to
find a complete set on ebay. i paid $450 for them used back in 2003. i'm glad i put them back on the car. every time i'm at a swap
meet i look for them in any condition, but you just dont see them.

if yours are not bent, the insert can be replaced with something acceptable.

if you want to off them, i'd be interested.

That's the dude I was thinking of! 

So between domeboys and joelson6 hopefully those trim pieces will find new homes! 



Just to think some guy back in the 70's probably took them off his Challenger and used them to clean out his gutter or something thinking these trim pieces were useless...

The back ones are not bent. there are no dings. Just one little spot where it was rubbed against. Very tiny spot. They are dull and need to be restored as far as shine.

We are currently having a discussion on the Body forum about the length of the front fender moldings. Though it is not yet definitive, it seems the length may be slightly shorter on the later year Challengers. I am looking for a pair of 60 inch front fender moldings, but so far have bought one 60 and one that is only 58 3/4.

Scat Pack, if you get a moment, will you please measure your front moldings? Since your car is a 74, my guess is they are the 58 3/4 inch ones.
