    Where do they all come from

    I first set foot in the classic muscle car world a year ago last spring when I bought my Challenger. At that time I did not know of another Challenger in the area. Since then I have located five others - red, yellow, purple, sublime green (under restoration) and orange. Mine is black. All of these cars are within a half hour drive of me!

    I'm hoping that next summer I can get these cars all together for a Sunday tour. That would be cool :ylsuper:

    Wow. Around here I've yet to see another Challenger this year. I saw a 'cuda last month, and a 72 road runner. Mopars are getting scarce in north western ontario. :crying:

    Like you said yourself. "Since I bought my challenger" you never see them until you start looking at buying one. Then you see them everywhere.  Thats what always happens to me.

     :iagree: Even with daily drivers - as soon as you buy a certain model you start to see them everywhere.

    I see alot of 70 challengers around me but not as many 71-74 models. We do have a fairly good Mopar Presence around me. Some really nice non e-body's too.

    Last time I saw an E-body on the road was like 4-5 years ago, maybe longer.  A 1970 Challenger.   

    Used to have a 1970 about 10 minutes away from where I live and now that one is gone...like 74 challenge said I haven't seen any '71-'74 Challengers around here.

    Around here I know of 2 other 70 Challengers( one a blue T/A) and a rag top 71 Challenger.
    No 72-74's? Lots of Cuda's/Barracuda's though? All years.

    Ok...a kind of related story..kind of....

    In March 2010 I bought my new Ram....I pick what I thought was the nicest colour, a combination that I'd never seen before. Blue/Silver. I drove that truck 4 months before I actually saw another one the same colour and that was when I was on my way to Carlisle.....
    I got lots of compliments in that first year.....

    Fast forward to the Spring of 2011....There are now three other identicle trucks, not only in my town, but within a 1 mile radius in my sub-division....

    One day I was dropping my son off at a birthday party and ran into another one with a women driving....We got talking seemed she knew my truck well because her husband used to drive out of his way to go past my house to see my truck....she said he did that for a whole year before be able to buy his "copy".......Then the be-auch said his was better because it had a factory sun roof... :stomp:

    I'd say send it in for a paint job but then it wouldn't match the build sheet and we all know your opinion on that... :lol:
