Happy day for me! I just registered for a car I am bringing to the show! 70 HEMI Cuda, first time there with a car, so hopefully I get to meet everyone this year, finally! I'm trailering it to the Days inn, then driving it in each day. Anyone else here at the Days Inn on Carlisle Pike? I was  hoping to bring the 70 Challenger that was COTM awhile back, but it just can't happen this year.....see you all son! chris irick (akachrisnj)

Yes I did! I'll be getting to the hotel on Wednesday, so once I'm set up, I hope I can lend a hand with the club tent. Last year I had to leave early, but I left behind a bunch of snack stuff. Hope to do the same this year, without having to leave! chris...

I'm bummin'.......Been out of full time work since I got laid off last september......

I have been interviewing with one company and it is looking promising (I am praying) but you know how that goes.

So, I am either unemployed and cant afford to make the trip or I am employed and will not be able to take time off to get out there on friday like I usually do.  If I do land the job I might try and register and get a hotel at that point (we stay further out) and come up Saturday...........

Will have to wait and see.

Anyways, to everyone who is going, have a great time!

If they are not operating on my heart or spine, I am planning on coming up for a day or so, especially if HemiKen comes so I can give him his parts he bought a few years back.  Age seems to be slowing me down some now adays.  Maybe Wade will ride with me.  4crusin, are you bringing a guitar for around the motel at night?   Shandango, did you camp there last year or so?  If yer still unemployed, you would basicly need gas and a few bucks for bbq'ing on a grill right?  How many miles (not clicks) is your drive?  I might can help ya out if need be.   I would love to bring cudaguys car up and take it to the track.  I am almost done with it, if I can ever get to stay home a bit more.  I just did that 2 month run of 80 plus hrs a week to wyoming desert, Utah destert and then a little 2 week trip to Montreal working on a 500 degree cement kiln.  Docs don't think I can hold up much  longer, but I still out work anyone at any age in my craft.  I hope to meet a few new members and see all the members and share some stories and fun times.  Do you think that my banner I had for the site will be there?

Thanks for the offer Al!   No, I never camped there.  Not sure my old back would survive camping anymore.  LOL

But......

I landed the job.............. :drunk: :bananasmi :ylsuper:.......started last monday...thank God...it was a scary 10 months.     The new job means a lot of changes for me but I am looking forward to this new chapter and new challenges.

That said, I will not have enough vacation accrued to do our usual trip.    But I do plan on coming up friday after work and coming up on Saturday at this point assuming all goes well.  Got my usual room in Shippensburg. ($80 a night).  The wife is working so it will be me and my two sons.  That also means no chase vehicle for carrying parts and "just in case" the fish decides to break down.

Will be leaving my area around 8pm and not getting there til 11p...so praying the car holds up. But I guess if not, that is what AAA is for .  LOL

Planning on registering at the gate on Saturday for the show field.  Anyone ever have trouble doing that?

So unless something major changes, I hope to be there on Saturday!
