Here's a tip for anyone using a factory steering column with aftermarket rack in pinion steering. See John's custom Cuda above....(don't think he has a factory column though, he still could use this trick)
The Ebody column will accept the earlier A & B body lower steering column bearing just by drilling a couple of extra holes for the set-screws, therefore giving your steering shaft way more support, and now the column will have two bearings which is a good thing.
I did this trick a couple of times now.
