Couple more shots before I call it a night. Thanks for the words guys. Most people wouldn't think of doing this to a 71 Cuda. But, it was done a long time ago when these things weren't worth what they are now.

Awesome Job,
Looking at your side body shot showing the gap of the rear of the door to the front of the quarter I have to ask you this.
I have just assembled my car, and I think by just looking at the picture your gap is tighter than mine.
Do you have the interior panels in yet? And if you do, when you close the doors do the interior panels hit each other?
My gap looks wider than yours, I have all brand new interior panels and mine hit each other.

I would never go in for that kind of paint job either, but MAN... someone paid out the wazoo for that. That had to be a mighty expensive paint job. I like it.

Dan, the gaps/lines on this car are incredible. Someone took a lot of time getting it all lined up right. I don't have my interior in yet though. I do have all the original panels in nice shape so it should still line up the same way. I recently put the repop panels in my Challenger and they didn't fit right. Had to do a lot of modifications.......shaving/heating etc.. to make it work. They were the better Palco panels, nice quality but definitely seem thicker than orginals. Heading to my buddies body shop now to get the rear and springs back in.

 :grinyes:  Bro, from an ole hippie, dude I like it, I beleive you posted pics when you first got the car, right? And man, you just have to register that car for Carilisle and park it with the rest of us in the E-bod section. Rob Wolfe will want a pic or two of that, a pic on the cover ov MCG would be like on the cover of the Rolling Stones in the 70's, peae bro.,lol.

A friend of mine used to have a Camaro with a paint job similar to that. We called it 'the easter egg car"!

That car is sweet.  There surely must be some old timers that recall that car when it was first done and cruisin around. Probably some good stories behind that car.
