OMG, My car is 10 times better now!!!

Today was 60 Degress +.  Boy did I get soem stuff done that has been bugging me and making my car so NOT fun to drive.

Found out my NSS was bad thats why my car would start once in a blue moon after 10 million times slamming the shifter. Now i have both reverse lights, can start the car in neutral and on hills!  :worship: :worship:  :eekbig:

DRIVELINE VIBRATION IS GONE!!!
The killer vibration that would shake the screws loose in my slap stick center console IS GONE!!!!!!    You ahve no idea how annoying this vibration was and how un enjoyable it was to drive. MY CHINESSE 1 YEAR OLD TRANS MOUNT WAS DISINEGRATED!. The tail shaft droped more then an inch and was resting on the Crossmember!!!  :eekbig: I custom made a new rubber mount, and order a new one for a spare.  WOW it is nice to have the driveline angles in line! Smooth as glass now!  Also adjusted my rockers, and fixed a header leak! 

TTI 3inch exhaust and a custom built BIGS 950 stage 5 are this next months upgade. I think i might be drivin this baby to carlise!!!!  I am soooooo happy. IS it to late for me to register my car in the CC tent? are there any hotel rooms left?? Im soo stoked!!!
 Sorry no pics but you guys would have got a kick out of when I took out my NSS and 3 quarts of tranmission fluid came out and ran down the driveway! Wasnt expecting that!  :laughing:

I was looking at tranny mount the other day and I think I'm due too ::

You know how there are two halfs then the sleeve slides through the middle? Well the backet it self that the rubber mount goes in cut through the rubber mount and was wearing a groove in the sleeve! I didnt think they wore out that quick!

Glad you got that worked out!  Thanks for the tipp on the NSS.  we JUST put our new one in and the new harness..... of course there wasnt any fluid in there yet!

Nick, I'm glad to hear you fixed those problems.  I'm sure if you react quickly, you should still be able to get everything set up for Carlisle!  That'd be so awesome if you brought that beefy '74 of yours!
