This just reminds us to ask questions if you are unsure. I didnt know much about cudas when I was looking for one. I asked a lot of questions though.  Some people might not want to ask questions for the fear of the car being scooped from them. I had cody look at my 71cuda before I drove down to pick it up. I did pay for it sight unseen except for pictures but I trusted his inspection.  Could he have bought it from under me??? Maybe but the seller was a very solid guy and wouldn't do that but it was a chance I took.

With this car its hard to say. Do 90% think it's fake...yes can you prove its real... no. It is real to his knowledge so in his mind he doesnt need to disclose anything. Its a buyer beware world out there  :chatting:and if you find something too good chances are it is.... well in my case anyways I dont have 3nough luck to find a 1 of 1 .. unless someone else out there has a 71 triple green billboard 340 cuda  :stirpot: :stirpot:

Makes you wonder, if you sell the car and claim you didn't know are you still responsible? I don't think negligence is a defense.

When that Cuda was discovered didn't a member here have his car at that same shop and was worried it would be seized as evidence or something?  :clueless:

This is a case of ignorance is bliss.  Owner is better off enjoying the car, then when ready to sell, pass along the same info he received.
If the can of worms is opened, no way to stuff them back in.

Honestly, if I felt like insulting anyone in this scenario, it would be the guy who misrepresented the car when he sold it.  People like that are the bane of this hobby.

Now that I think about it, at a car show this summer I had a guy tell me that he used to have a '70 Challenger T/A 440 Hemi Six Pack with T-tops. I wonder if it's the same car?

I'm in the process of finding info right now but as soon as I find out I'll let u guys know.  I did find out what the Q in the Von means, it means public relations and it has the public relation option code.  I have been tearing up the town in the car it's my first four speed and I love it.

that's really all that matters here.  whether the numbers reveal what you want I think is pretty insignificant if you're enjoying the car.  its built the way you want it to be, drive and have fun!
