HI Kenny, I think it looks terrific and like how the handle is angled.

Just curious, how tall is it compared to a manual Pistol Grip shifter in a a Challenger or Cuda?  Is it the same height?  It looks a wee bit tall to my untrained eye, but cool none the less!

How much and when can I get it???  Looks so good ken, seriously man, never been a fan of the way pistol grips looked with an auto, but I love this thing, might help me curb my 4spd swap urges for a while!

With these auto tranny Pistol Grip shifter handles I always wondered if you can attach a manual shifter boot on top of the console to hide the automatic shifter plate to make it look more like a real manual shifter?

I modeled it off an original pistol grip in a manual car, took heaps of measurements and it sits at the same height as what i have made buddy. Maybe because it does not have the rubber boot it looks taller too, i have seen guys pull the boot way up high and some that squash it down so the 4 speed selector box bulges against the rubber, personal taste there again i guess.

I am so glad you like it moparman i have been wanting a shifter like this for years, and my thinking was the same as yours, the shifters that were available were cool, but still just not quite right in my own opinion, so i know what your saying
Not sure what the cost will be yet, i have to wait until everything is done and i can calculate all the individual parts and the costings involved, i will make it affordable. This started out from looking at Roy282's custom wooden grips and my wanting of a shifter arm that looked more like a manual stick, all the ideas just fell in to place and i jumped head first in to making this thing work, i am very proud and i will be running one in my car for sure.
My time schedule for release was going to be around Christmas time, but i have had a set back with the guy laser cutting the profile to try reduce costs to make it affordable for you guys, i can sit down and cut each one by hand, but the labor costs in that is aweful high He messed up with his first CAD drawings and cut me 35 handles, and everyone was no where near the money, so we are working together now and he garauntees they will be what i am after. We will have to wait and see if his promises match his work, stay tuned for the results, but i will make it public on here for everone to know, i can send you a PM too, incase you miss the thread

To tell you guys the truth, i have been thinking about that also, it is something that is totally doable and not that hard to perform the conversion on, modify the brackets for the mounting of the Slap-Stick mech to make it a bit shorter from front to back, fit a 4 speed hump, modify the selector rod from the shifter to go underneath the rubber boot, so totally doable, you would have to modify your console the same as a 4 speed console also, and get the right carpet. This would be easy on a console, i could do the same so just the stick sat out of the floor like a non console car, but that would be a lot of work as i would have to hide all the selector rods and pivot arm would need modifying also, i was thinking it could all hide under the 4 speed hump for a really clean look, but it would be a mammoth effort for a clean cool look. So i have been thinking about all of this already guys

I think that would have looked better if the boot was mounted to the tunnel like a 4 speed more so IMO anyway

I am hearing what your saying Dutch some may like the 4 speed look with a boot, but like you say, personal opinion and likes comes in to play.
