Paint body
« on: November 15, 2013 - 06:19:15 AM »
I have a small chip and scratch on the passenger side front fender. The body shop told me that they will have to paint the front hood, the fender of course, and the passenger front door. The car was painted in 2001 which still looks great. They told me that I would have to find out what type of paint was used so they could match paint.
There is no way I can find that out.are they correct that they can't match the paint? The color is vitamin orange?
Also does anyone know of any paint shops in bergen county NJ that paint classic cars.
thank You,Al

Base/clear is easier to blend but a good shop can color match. Find another shop.  :2cents:
