Both cars look really great.  Remember, they are 40+ years old
You are getting great advice.
Restore the 340 car.  It has a rare color combo and is basically an RT w a high powered small block.
The 340 Challengers are known as  A66 cars and are special Challengers with a strong following.
There are a lot of great posts on the A66 cars; you should read them and learn what you can about these cars.

The six would make a good daily driver, especially with gas prices always fluctuating.  They are also becoming more rare with everyone modifying the 6cyl cars.
You are in a great position to restore two fun cars.

The rallye hood must not belong to the A66 car im am thinking, so it would have the 340 emblems on the front fenders too, if ti was equipped with the rally hood, it would have come with the 340 four barrel decals

My A-66 has no 340 emblems on the hood, but came with "V-8" emblems on the fenders.

Early 340-Four Barrel cars came with decals instead of nameplates on the hood.  I had one of those cars.
So the hood would be original to a 340 car even though it may not have holes for the name plate.

I haven't either. Mine had the 340 4 barrel emblems on it.

I've got more cars at home, but this is all I could find here at work.

/\ /\ /\ They came with a decal if fitted with a Rallye hood only, if they were fitted with a flat hood the car got the fender emblems, funny enough on the fenders

The A66 option was added after the beginning of production. Only early cars got the decals. Speculating that this was a stop gap measure becuase the emblems were not ready yet. The Rallye hood was a part of the package, not a seperate option though some cars may not have received it.

Do you have a fender tag on your A66 ? can you check it is a rallye hood car and the build date please

My A66 Challenger was built at the Los Angles plant on 10/16/1969 but it had the hood emblems when I bought it last year, no R/T emblems.
