That's a great looking car . It has a nice stance  with the rims that are on it . Just love the close up pic of the car as it is about to be unloaded awesome.  :aussie:

Thanks I noticed that too, I'm hoping to keep the same stance but put some more meat up front.

Got to go order the tires soon!  245-60-15 Coopers on the front as I dont like skinny drag tires in the front.

Looking good!  Rare to find one that you can just do a few things to and have a good result with.  I like the look of that holley too.

Great looking car.  What did it end up going for?

Believe it or not, 23k.

Started out at 22 and I only had to bump it 1k. I really thought it would go for the mid 20's to high 20's.

So far so good and it's been fun! Can't beat that.
You can't go wrong at that price.  Very nice ride.

The lack of rear side markers scares me.  Maybe I missed it....what are you going to do about that?

Jim should be able to rebuild that road lamp switch for you no problem...if that ends up being the problem.

The previous owner, or even before that decided to delete the rear marker and keep the front marker.

Kinda a strange decision, I would think they would have deleted both but down the line I'll get them back in there. Just not a high priority right now.

Yeah that's the problem, I have to narrow it down.

Thanks for the tip as I might just have to send it off to Jim.

Well finally got the new 15x8 Welds on the front with 245-60-15 Coopers on there and WOW what a difference.

Coming out of the tire place I hit the brakes coming to a light and I just about launched myself through the front windshield. This is because the skinny drag tires on the front had very little to bite on and the new tires give way better feel. The car was somewhat unsafe with the 5.5" rims and I'm totally happy with how the car behaves now. It's so much more predictable for getting sideways.

I pulled the car out of the bay where the car had it's tires changed, hopped out and had the tech turn the wheel lock to lock and I was laughing with joy that there was no rubbing anywhere and it didn't hit anywhere in the range of travel.

Very nice!

Love 70 'Cudas

Really like  the car's color and the wheels.

You must be some place warm.

I'm a big fan of the Pro Stars and although I swapped them for a different style of wheel for the street I purposely kept a set for trips to the track. :burnout:

The 15x8 with 245/60-15 tire seems to be the best setup for the front of an E-body, much better looking that dinky little factory 14" ralley wheels.

My front Welds are just a bit too small at 15x7(4.5" backspace) with 235/60-15 tires.
I will be selling the fronts as I also have a set of skinny 15x3 1/2 Welds with Front runner tires.
