Hi Ken,

It's already LO2 complianced and registered. It's already got disc brakes, I just would like to add a power booster to the setup to give it more stopping power. I've been looking at this setup, apparently it will bolt right up ready to go. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/380496502287?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649

cheers, Brad.

Hey Brad,

If that guys is selling those on e-bay, he would be the middle man, and i bet you could find the source to where he buys it cheaper my friend.
It will make driving your`Cuda a lot more nicer having the power brake booster attached. Hard peddles just feel so wrong. :2thumbs:

You can post up more pictures if you like :jumping: , i will not get upset over it  :lol2: , it really is a lovely car. :clapping:

Kenny.

Hi Brad! Uber crisp 71 you have there! As others have alluded to, I'm seeing, or at least I think I'm seeing, some fat krinkle-finished valve covers under the hood. Got Hemi? Got to ask the obvious - is it a super-sweet tribute or, dare I say it, one of the rare and elusive original 108?
Cheers!

Hi Crash,
No immediate plans for a car run or show. I'm not in any mopar/chrysler car club, I'm actually a member of the Qld corvette club, buts that's another story. What mopar club/events do you recommend attending in SEQ.
cheers, Brad.

Hey Brad, Crash is taking his `Cuda to the Mopar Mahem at Willowbank raceway on the 7th of December. That would be the first one of many that are happening, i am looking like i will be going down to the Mopar Nationals at Hethcote Victoria on the same day, it sucks they are on the same day.

Hi RzeroB,
No, unfortunately it's not a real R1B car, I had to let them stay in their garages and keep some money in my wallet. It's still a nice BS hemicuda clone that puts a smile on my face and I'm not too afraid to actually drive it around. Hence my current desire to make it a little better with some power brakes.
cheers, Brad

Brad,

Original or tribute, your 71 looks super sweet! Black is tough as it shows every flaw, but the lines on your car look razor sharp. She is a beauty for sure!

Being that your car is so uber crisp, we "demand" to see more pics! :grinyes:
Cheers!

Thats the plan Brad, it'll be my Cuda's first outing, I wont be running round the track but will drive it out for the day, i have had no time to go over the car and check for issues hence no track driving. I do know my first job is to replace the welsh plugs, they are weeping slightly and are the original so I guess its to be expected. I have the plugs, just need her at home to give her some love.

Welcome from another Aussie :aussie:
I'm from Townsville.
I think I'm going to be at MoparMayhem since I have to pick up my new Ram from Brisbane about then
May get to meet you there!!!

As for your brakes I've got a 440 in both my challenger and 69 notch barracuda with non assisted front discs.
The secret to a good pedal feel is the master cylinder bore size.
you want 15/16" for manual brakes.
Burnouts are cool but Traction is the Action

Welcome to CC!  That's one really nice cuda you have there.  :ylsuper:

The cuda looks like the Hammond resto from Oregon......If so didn't the car sell to a gentleman in Southern California and he had dual quads installed?

Thanks for sharing and congrats on one very fine machine.

Hi Tripleblack, yep that's the car all right. I bought it from the guy in LA. I've been touch with the original restorers in Oregon as well and have some of the resto pics. How do you know about the cuda?
