newb from Seattle
« on: November 22, 2013 - 01:40:46 PM »
Let me start by saying I don't own a 'Cuda..... yet!
I look forward to using this forum and hopefully learning from other members here. My father had a 72', or so I'm told. He passed in 80 when I was 2, so I can't ask him about it. Unfortunately my mother's older brother got his hands on it shortly after, and that's the last info I have on it. Well that's my short story! Thanks for reading :)

John

Welcome. Stories similar to yours have resulted in the son finding the father's car. It's hard to do but not impossible. If your uncle is still alive, have you talked to him about it? Is the original dealership still in business? If so and you got real lucky there may be some old timer there that would know something about the car. Ask around town. Somebody might know something about it. It would be really cool if it still existed and you could find. Keep us informed.

Thanks for the welcome and info! The quick bullet point story I gave above was many years ago that I received that info. I contacted my mother last night.Sometime in 83', my soon to be step father convinced her that she needed to get rid of it. That's where my uncle comes in. He parted it out!! He ran with a pretty rough crowd back then, so I could never find the car or parts now. Mom divorced that pile many years ago, and of course I don't like him just that much more now.
