The problem with D-C is not that the guys calling the shots aren't car guys - they are, but they're German car guys. They don't understand the emotional connection Americans have to musclecar names like Charger and Cuda, and they rely on generic marketing research. Then they get defensive when criticized about it.
One can only hope the overwhelmingly negative reaction they got from the '06 Charger makes an impression. If that car sells well, they'll feel vindicated, and we may see a four door Cuda.
It pains me to say that I hope that a Hemi-powered RWD Mopar doesn't sell.
