If your wife has a Nitro why not just borrow her spare, check the offset, maybe even put it in place on front and rear just to get a feel for placement and size (if the offset isn't too far off)?  Obviously not going to move the car with it on one corner but it should still give you an idea about suitability.


Good idea, but I can tell from looking at her rims they are offset entirely inboard... meaning the out side of the rim is flush with the outer sidewall of the tire. Most newer cars I see all have the same indoard offset which has been said will hit the springs in the rear, and not work in the front. Will prolly just buy a set of rally wheels, but then gotta figure out tire size to get the gearing right. Thank you for all the input, and knowledge!
