It really depends on a lot on additional information that I can't determine about the car from what's been posted in this thread.  For example, is there a fender tag and what options are on the car (A33 or A34), is there a broadcast sheet, what does the underside look like, does the odometer show original miles (how many), how much body damage was repaired or needs to be repaired?  For me there are just too many unknowns to say what it's worth.  Besides Alan and Cody are more in tune with market prices than I am, so I would trust their estimates.  I will say that if you got it for under $20k, then I think you got a really great deal.  If you don't need to sell it, then drive it for a while and have some fun with it.

it has 84000 miles and it is numbers matching front to back and it does have a fender tag but i have not found a build sheet yet the only place i have not looked is in the head liner and under carpet and yes somebody did replace the inner fender on the pass side with a 71 but i have the correct one but i wont change it until im ready to paint it because im having to much fun with it right now its really keeping me from finishing my 70 gtx factory black with a white stripe and burnt orange interior 440 4 speed car.

Glad you got it!  Sounds like you're enjoying it and that's what it's all about.   

You should have bought it because it sure is a nice car for what he was asking for it but i didn't give him what he was asking for it plus i paid him for it 2 hours after he put it on facebook.

im in this car so cheap i could do a restoration on it and make a very nice profit.

That would be the way to do it then, i was talking more of the meantime kind of thing, just paint a purple bumble bee and drive it for a little while and then rip in to it for a restoration i would like to see a reverse paint job done on a car like this, i think it would look cool. Great score by the way, very cool car you ended up with

Yeah this car is a blast to drive i think this winter after i finish the gtx i will go ahead and do the inside of the car and have it complete that way it is a little more comfortable and clean inside but its still cool to say this car has been sitting in a barn since the eighties except the very few times he moved it around and i appreciate all the info ive got from all you guys cody you guys have been alot of help thanks.

yeah i no there not correct the guy that he bought it from had replaced the dash pad because it was all cracked up and you no the tag rivets through the dash pad im going to order some and have them ready to put in when i do the inside of the car if i can find some originals ones would be nice. good eyes there cody i noticed that immediatly myself.

Correct rivets are easy to find.  When the time comes and you need a set I have a few extras.

FC7 is one of the best colors on ebodies.

There are a couple real nice companies doing dashes.  Call Dave at Roseville and he'll take good care of you when you're ready to buy one.  I've used Just  Dashes and Ultimate and they both were good.
