Sorry guys.... more (dumb) questions:

Front weather seals:
1 - How do you remove the front door weather seals from the doors to help window removal?
2 - What are these called (whiskers?) and who is a good vendor for replacement strips if they need to be replaced?

Rear quarter windows:
I want to remove and replace the rubber seal on the rear quarters.

1 - How do you remove the chrome trim from the glass
2 - Who is a good vendor for the replacement weather strip?

Its a 70 Challenger...

Thanks

Roseville has the rubber strips. You don't have to remove the stainless strip on the quarter window to replace
the rubber. It kind of rolls out. Reinstall with black weatherstrip adhesive. Door whiskers available from Roseville
also. Wherever you buy from, just make sure you use Topcat brand.
If I cant fix it, it's broke

Thanks Cudamaan.

How do i get the whiskers off the doors?

I recently did mine.  To remove the cat whiskers from the doors, just pull mostly up and slightly in towards the car; starting at either the front or rear of the door.  You may need the help of pliers or vise grips to get a good hold on them.  They are held on with clips that are attached to the whiskers.  It takes a bit of yanking and pulling, but they will come off.  Mine were unusable afterwards, as they got all bent and distorted in the removal process, but I didn't care because I had brand new replacement TopCat whiskers.  I've heard they are the best.  The 1/4 rear glass weatherstrip can either be slid into the stainless channel, or set in place and tucked under the lip of the strip.  Just be sure to align the the small protruding tabs (on the inside of the stainless strip) with the indents in the weather strip, and use the black weatherstrip adhesive.  Not too much though as you'll have to do cleanup of the excess that will ooze out.

I need help getting the quarter glass out from my '70 Barracuda.  I have the two bolts out that hold the gladd and the wiskers removed.  Is there any trick to getting the glass out?

Here is a thread I started on the other site that has a ton of great info on glass replacement!  I was working on a 70 convertible!
