The script used to be available online a few years back, it wasn't very long. 3 of the 4 cars used were manuals with 440's, the 4th was a 383 auto which was used mainly for the outside camera shots. The auto was the only car to be in reasonable condition at the end of the movie, it also towed the Camero into the bulldozer blades at the end. A prostitute actually took off in the 383 car at the finish of the film and the crew had to go find it. The 4 cars were all different colors originally but painted white, in different scenes you can see damage appear and disappear, green even shows through on one desert scene.
Chrysler supplied 1970 models but were not happy as the 1971 model was on sale when the movie was released (check posters) and that and the fact 3 of the 4 cars were basically write-offs was the reason they were all crushed.
Drugs were being introduced into movies around this time unfortunately and so was nudity, the naked girl on the bike was actually the wardrobe lady for the film, liked her wardrobe for that scene.
