    I've had the spedo burried on my Subaru WRX last summer, its registered for 140MPh, so i'm guessing 145ish.  Changed out the tires a week later and found out that the insides of the rear tires were worn down to the belts!!

    All of these were a while ago:

    137 mph----1/4 mile 65 Dodge A990 Hemi car---sold it in 1987

    Almost topped out a '68 Hemi Roadrunner--150ish?  Traded it for the '65 A990 in 1983.

    About 135 or so on a 1983 Honda CB1100F--sold it before it did me in.

    That's about it I guess.....................Oldschool

    ive gone around 140 in my 67 427 tri power vette...woohoo now thats a ride(loud, brutal, and floaty) and did over 160 in my built 93 twinturbo 300zx.  It has jwt sport 530 turbos, bored .60 over, cammed, chipped, and nitrous fed.

    142 mph on the A3 (I think) autobahn heading to munich 2 weeks ago in a (yuck) ford mondeo 2.0L turbodiesel 6 speed - no I'm not kidding. It's the weirdest thing to have to move over at that speed so some 5 series bmw can blow by you- how fast was that guy going???? :bigsmile:

    70 Cuda, 7.0L Gen-III Hemi, Viper T56 w/9310 gearset, 3.91's, Megasquirt MS3x v3.57, Innovate wideband, Firm Feel upper arms, torsion bars, springs and strut rods, QA1 DA shocks. I did everything on this car except the fancy paint stuff and I drive it...and I can't seem to stop messing with it....

    Took my first 71 Challenger up to 136 mph and the tires started floating so I knew it was time to back it off. I went 135 mph in my Stratus RT and it had more but I'm not 20 years old anymore and was having 2nd thoughts about driving that fast so I shut it down.

    i went about 140 in my 71 challenger 340 4 speed tunnel ram 2x4,about 160 on my zx7 while racing at daytona international speedway

    Definately not the fastest but i thought it was awesome, try nearly 100 on a Honda Shadow (motorcycle), wind in my face... oh goodness. I wasnt driving of course... but still. Im still young... i have a lot of years to REALLY go FAST.

         I did 155 mph in my valiant charger R/T replica, 360 S/B 4 speed in Australia at Eastern creek raceway ,charger did 12.4 @ 119 mph street tyres
         
         and 130 mph in my 70 challenger R/T 440 on the motorway.
