    174 in my viper - racing a RUF.

    My very first ticket was 112 in a 50 in a plymouth voyager two weeks after getting my license. My mom burned the ticket after I framed and hung it up in my bathroom.

    got pulled over doing 135 in a 35... luckily the cop was taking someone downtown at the time. Just got an earfull and told to go home.

    Pegged the speedometer in my Challenger, but I doubt I was going much faster than 125. This was 20+ years ago on the Washington DC beltway, at about 3 in the morning, so I could use all four lanes.

    My friend Leah took me to about 140 going down the straight in her SCCA ITB BMW 2002.

    i was clocked at 150+ by a cop on a back road (it was freshly redone). cop was stopped an didnt even get a good view of the car, he thought a blue charger was a black road runner. they knew by the time of the am that i would be going by in the timeframe but since he couldnt catch me i just got yelled at. my sister was a dispatcher for the county at the time, that may have had something to do with it.. 74 charger, no tack buildt 318 ,904, and 2.73 gears with im guessing a 26 inch tire. anyone wana do the math n tell me what kinda rpm that was? i know it was screamin, and came apart a couple weeks later.

    I did 137 the other day, but i wasnt going anywhere.  CP and I were tuning the new mill, I was strapped in a chassis dyno and the only breeze i seen was the one from the big fan in front...lmao.    :cheers:

    I had recount it to Mph but the fast in a Mopar(my Charger) is 110 but then it got scary, but the fast ever was in a ****in Mercerdes and that ****er did 140 at 100 it felt like 55....

    If not then next down the list would be my 99 Yamaha R6. I had done some work to it and the best I had it going was 175 but I had to back down due to upcoming traffic in the distance. I might have been able to pull another 5-10 MPH out of it by the way was still pulling before I let off.

    Next would be somewhere over 125 in a 318 Chally. I didn't dare to take my eyes off the road during that ride as loose as that car felt! :22yikes:

    Next after that would be the wife's 98 Taurus SHO with a 3.4 ltr Yamaha V8 in it. We had to have had that thing doing well over 120 but I cant say exactly how much past. The electronic Speedometer shut off at 120moh and went to 0 until we got back down below 120. We had 4 people in the car at the time and I slowed down after a small bump in the road got a few inches of air under the car at that speed. The fingernails digging into my arm told me it was time to back down. That car still had some MHP left in it but I never went looking for it since then. No reason to if it wouldn't even tell me how fast it was really going. :dunno:

    Had the 150mph speedo pegged on I-40 in my 69 Sport Satellite 4spd/transplanted 440. About two days later my rear tire flew off at 70mph while we were blowing the doors off a Rally Sport Camaro! Thank God for an 11 inch brake drum!

    265 KPH (~165MPH)in a DCX Mercedes SLK 230. It was redlined and I was on the autobahn heading from Dusseldorf to Berlin. I day tripped Berlin when a nice Fraulein at Hertz Dusseldorf offered to give me a "Fun" car if I promissed not to leave Germany!

    i've done 140mph many times in my 2003 Crown Vic. Police Interceptor. Chasing after mopars and if your lucky i  might like you car and give you a warning.
