probably 110 or 115 in various poor rental cars over the years, but I took my 73 Barracuda up to 102 on a nice North Dakota country road straightaway last fall on very worn rear tires. One of those roads that is between gravel and asphalt. I've done a lot of crazy high wire rigging stuff, and I play with firearms and giant robots that spit fire and shoot 2x4's 180 mph, but that was hands down the scariest few seconds of my life. Sort of floating along, like friction was a second though....
It started out as a Sunday drive, but i had just gotten the vehicle a few weeks earlier, and she just kind of asked nicely for me to keep putting my foot down, just to breath in that sweet harvest air. She seemed pretty happy when it was all over and we both grinned the whole way home. Y'all know how those 'cudas can grin...
