    When I was younger I worked at a GM dealership (I know I know painful right). Guy brought in a brand new CTS V with the blown LS motor and a five speed for a new set of rubbers. When I was finished I said I needed to take it for a drive to "reset the the tire pressure monitors"  :lol2: Hit the interstate on ramp and floored it. Shifted as fast as I could and by the time I hit the end of the ramp was doing about 120ish. Stayed on it till bout 130 then finally backed off. That was one fast car. Ever since then I've wanted one.

    100 in my jeep wrangler coming down the mountain from VA. may have gone faster street racing in my teens but never thought to look at the speedo.

    155 mph in our Volvo S80 T6. Tuned to 321 hp. We totally humiliated a BMW!  :roflsmiley:

     Anything over 120 in a vintage Mopar is saying something.  Especially on bias ply tires it's like woooooo..... :eek2:

    I'm a pretty reserved when it comes to top speed (I'm more of an acceleration junkie).
    That being said, the fastest I've been is 101 on my MV Agusta 910 S.

    About 160 several times in my Corvette ZO6, damn the wind is loud at that speed!

    about 130 mph in a 67 Dodge Dart on a not so smooth road! if you have ever experienced or heard of body float/roll....... it is absolutely terrifying! The suspension got stiffened up shortly after that ride!

    120 MPH in 3rd gear.......thats when I decided that with more gears to go, I should quit while I was ahead!!!

    I'm sure you've seen this being a Ford Gt owner, but If I owned one it would be awfully tempting to do this  :roflsmiley:
