    About 115 in the Challenger. About 135 in my friend's 74 Pontiac Stationwagon on US23 when the accelerator got stuck. :eekbig: The car would not slow down yet my friend's main concern was not blowing up the motor. We eventually had a long enough straight away and he shut the car off while hoping the steering didn't lock, it didn't.  :ack:The linkage was bound up it would not have come loose.

    I wasn't scared. I was used to him taking it up over 130 almost every time he got on the highway (and I was 18 at the time). I was mad   :mad: because he was more concerned about not damaging the car.

    I've gone "P" as in M.P.H.in a 73 440 cuda. Those with the rally dash should know what im talking about. :burnout: :guitar:

    Ive gone about 115 in my moms accord but she doesnt know about that so its all good and then in my frontier i have done about 90 im to afriad to take it up into triple digits right now bc i need to get the steering wheel shake out of it and i am waiting to see how fats i can get my 72 Challenger to go but that is going to have to wait bc im only 17 and not having any luck finding a job to get the money ti finish my car up

    about 110mph on a sled here have yet to take a car up to that speed yet.

    this past weekend in my area for the holiday weekend the fastest speed ticket was 330kmh, some guy on a bike.

    Maybe its young and dumb but doing 110mph on a sled with nothing around me im not scared at all, i want to keep going but thats all the sled can do, i wouldnt be scared at 110 in a car thats for sure.

    I have gone 157 in 1987 corvette from los angeles to las vegas. (Wide open stretch of Higway) I also went 159 in a 1992 6 speed corvette on the same stretch of road.  I have not had the pleasure of stretching the legs on the challenger yet!!!!

     120 plus I was coming home from my soon to be wifes apartment when on the freeway this guy in a pickup started tailing me I passed he would pass. I was tired of getting blinded from his headlights so I worked my way up to about 90 mph and he stayed rihgt behind me. Well at this time I still had the 3.23 rear so I had plenty of pedal left so I opened it up :burnout: I keeped my foot into it intil his headlights were two pinpoints I let off, after a moment I looked down and the speedo and it was coming down off of 120 man what a ride :dogpile:

    I've gone about 120 in my '72 Challenger (when the car was alive).  It's interesting that I did not give much thought to the four wheel drum brakes until after I came to a stop light.  I had a '90 Mustang 'notch back (not an affair that I adimt to my Challenger) that I bought fully tricked out.  I had a full road race cage installed and took it to the Silver State Classic.  Average speed was 173 m.p.h.  That's over an 80 mile piece of road.  With twists.  With turns.  And it's not what would be considered race track smooth.  Saw a Porsche or Ferreri (could tell which) balled up on the side of the road as we went by.  No one was hurt, was told they hit an armmadillo.

    I did 135 in a 1985 Turbo Shelby Charger that I had back in the '80s
    I was doing 135 when I let off the throttle.. after I passed and pulled away from a 1985 Monte Carlo SS.
    That was one fast 4-banger!
