what colour should the metal brackets be painted on a 71 cuda with AC? there is a outside black bracket and the other metal colour ones.

Did you figure it out?  You have to snake it out but it should come out.  May be a bit hard to do if there's rust in that area.

restoration is almost done.

on this door is there a metal washer on both side or just on one side ?

i'm looking for the  off/heat/def  cable, it has been cut by the previous owner.

i heard people here talking about 2 hook for the heater box .. should i have those hook on my 74 challenger non a/c box. and were should it goes.

when you restored that heater box, what did you coat it with please, a clear sealer, paint color ???

I wet sand the box with 600 then clear coat with Satin Clear. This box had a couple of fiberglass repairs as well which I paint with a mixture of greys and blacks before the clear coat
