The 360 blocks will not work if you already have the 340 stroker kit , the maiin brg size is different & the kit will not fit , the 360 is also a smaller bore so it will not make as much CI , the bore will not go as far & you need to sonic check the block past .030 overbore . You can alway go to the R3 / W8 combo & make about 700 HP using Mopar parts .

Member "Shooter" here knows where there is a 340 engine. Why don't you buy that and ship it over to Aussie?

Yep - already bought the kit so I'm committed on that course now. I have read the R3 block has a lot of interchangeability (read: lack of) with standard 340 parts. Also I believe the R3 is a dry sump block and needs a bunch of oiling mods  :clueless:

Do W8 Heads have different port locations? I already have the intake, headers and LA shaft rockers too..

Near the top of the page, look for Members, hover the cursor over that, and click "Search for Members."

Yes W8 stuff is different. If I was building a SB I'd be looking at these heads. Impressive flow #'s! :2thumbs:
