Very nice  69Chargermd. Did you drill the fenders for the emblems or glued them on?

Thanks Telis
They are attached with 2 sided adhesive. I didn't want to drill the fenders, in case I decide to change things up in the future eg putting a side stripe, etc.

65* here in Louisville. Pushed the car outside for the first time.
Kinda curious why the car doesn't sit higher in the front without the drivetrain. Will have to check the torsion bar adjustments once the motor goes in

Very nice ! I think because it is raised enough from the rear, you have a little lower front without the engine what TB diameter do you use?

Telis. Thanks for the post,,,,  :smokin:
I have new Firm Feel bars ( I can't remember the exact size,, )  I want to say 1.08 ?,, :clueless:,, ( I know it's just a bit over 1 )
The car does have some rake built in due to the large rear tire,,,,
I want to put a taller front tire on it,,,,Im not sure I like the front tire size so far,,they look a bit too short to me,,, ? :sly:

Bruce,,,thanks,, :2thumbs:,yup,,first trip outside the garage since i got it back,,,,looks a bit different when you can actually walk around it.
Have a friend that hopefully can put the headliner in soon,,,then I  can start on the interior a bit more,,,

Hoosier,,,,thank you...  :drunk:

Going to plumb the brake lines at each wheel soon,,,,i have all the body fuel and brake lines already in,,,,

Nice to see some progress,,,,but i have a ways to go,,,, :pullinghair:

Thanks everyone !!
(happy holidays)

Yes happy holidays to you as well. I see a lot of challengers that run 235s on the front but I thought they looked a bit short on mine while it was on the dollies in the garage so I bought 245s m/t,s like yours and they seem to look better. The 235s were 26.1" and the 245s were. 26.6" doesn't seem like a lot but it makes a difference, problem now is I have the 28x12x15 m/t's with the flame pattern on the back which fit and look great but the matching front tires only come in the 26.1" size. I don't think I can live with two different patterns so I think I will order the 26x8x15s matching front tire and see if looks ok :dunno: problem is with 15"tires you don't have many choices . I may have to go to 17/18s but I like the look of more sidewalls. Like I said I see cars that look great with 235s and some not so much maybe it's the whole package or how the stance is.

Are the shocks in? You may be at full extension of them holding the front down.

Looks good btw.

What a nice job you are doing on the Challenger.  Looking really good.  Black is always a great color on an ebody.
You were very lucky to find such a rust free body with really straight metal
Just started to clean my A66 Challenger up after being in storage since 1984.
Best of luck with your build.

340 challconvert; No shocks in yet ( front or rear ),,,it could be the rake of the car with the rear tire,,,,it is a big back tire,,,295/65/15,,,we'll see....
I hope there is no issue with the "indexing" of the LCA when I inserted the bars,,,

YellowThumper; Thank you ! I was happy the car was very solid after it came back from the soda blaster,,,( the roof had to be replaced due to the previous vinyl top )
Somewhat torn as to putting a stripe on it  :pullinghair:,,,,ended up just putting emblems on at this point,,,I kinda like the matte black stripe on a black car,,,,we'll see,,,,pretty easy to change back and forth.
Do you have a thread going on your car as you restore it ?
