It's been a few months since any posts. I have the car down to a roller now. All the glass is out. Drivetrain, interior, trim, dash, etc. The car is going to get Soda Blasted next week, then to the body and paint shop.
Some pics....

Found 2 build sheets for the car, one under the seat, and a second behind the glove box.

Heater box coming out

Dash and heater out...

The Dash is all disasembled, the dash pad is tore up, and needs to be replaced as well

Grill is washed up, need to start restoring it.

Thanks guys,,,I need to get out to the soda blaster,,,,hoping for a dry day,,,Car is surprisingly clean. It's been in California all it's life,,,,
Needs a trunk pan, and what ever else is found during blasting,,,but it's original paint, and never been apart before that i can tell,,,,so hopefully no major surprises.
I found all kinds of stuff from the 70's in it,,,ticket stub from Disney World,,,,Business cards with California addresses,,parking stickers,,,etc,
It is a Western Sport Special car ( made in Hamtramck,,,but shipped and sold new in California )
Have the original owners paper work and documents and maintenance that he did on the car.
The trim, grill, dash, etc all need to be redone,,,

Bruce, still have the 65 for sale ( that car would look good sittin in your driveway,,,let me know ;)

thanks guys,,,
