2 above pictures show today's work. Car is finally all painted. Doors, fenders, front and rear valance done and soon to be bolted on.
Still have to spray the TA style hood (going with Organisol black )
Turned out really nice,,
Going without a vinyl top for now, new AMD roof looks great with a bit of minor work, especially in black.
will have lots of questions soon,,,after I get it home.
Putting a new DANA and front suspension under it soon,
INDY motor is getting worked on as well...
can't wait...

Looking good!  I've just started on my build as well.  It's also a '70 WSS from the Cali area.

Well,,,,the car is finally home,,,took about a year at the body and paint shop.
I put the Dana, springs and front suspension in it while it was on the rotisserie,,,,
AAR T/A hood and pins now on the car,,,,

Lots to do,,,but glad it's home,,,,so I can start working on it.

I re-did my ceiling so I can get the Charger under the Challenger on the lift,,,,
Going to tear down the Charger at some point and restore it back to original someday ( 440 RT/SE 4 speed car, triple green, stripe delete car )

test fitting some tires,,,,295/65/15,,,fit is perfect,,,,,
Rear suspension is done,,,and buttoned up,,,,just have to add fluid to the Dana.....
Front suspension almost done,,,torsion bars in,,,,have to torque a few things down,,,,

The white car is a 65 Belvedere II,,,strip car,,,was a "little ol lady" car back in the day,,,,
now with a 451 wedge motor,,,runs 10.04 in the 1/4 mile,,,

Brad,,,hope to see you at Carlise,,,,we are coming up again this year......

Wow Doug, your Chally looks AMAZING!   I just read through your build thread and I love it. I hope to go a similar direction with my Cuda at some point. What engine are you going with and what gear ratio in the Dana?

Thanks mofish.....
I got the Dana from Dr Diff ( got a B body dana and his offset spring hangers ) so i can get a bigger tire without tubbing the car,,,,Ratio is a 3;54,,,I will be driving it on the street,,,,,I also got the rear disc brakes from him....
Motor will be a 493 stroker ( bought the kit from Mancini ),,,INDY EZ heads ( all ported with matching intake from Porter Racing ),,,,will be a pump gas car, solid cam,,,,should be a fast "street car"
No plans to race it,,,but i did tie the frame when the body work was being done....
Thanks for the comments,,,,,would like to hear about your car as well......
We are going to Carlise,,,,,,hope to see alot of guys from the board when we are there.......I need alot of little things,,,eg clips,,,hardware,,,etc,,,,
