I am relativly new to the mopar way of life, but I have deep respect and admiration for all American Muscle cars. I currently own (my first mopar) a 2011 Challenger SE(I know....I know....not a real muscle car because its not a V8....
). In the near future when I retire from the army, I am seriously considering selling the 2011 for a 1970/71 challenger or 'cuda. I havent realy made up my mind, and dont truly have a preference towards either one. What I am looking to get out of it is a daily driver, as close to 600HP as possible, quasi-resto-moded car. I want to be able to drive it hard and fast at anytime, but yet be able to drive it to and from work. Dont care about shows, matching numbers, or anything of those things that would make it super expensive. I understand more power comes at a price, and I'd like to stay within a modest reasonable amount when all is said and done. Not only am I looking for direction, but I also want to understand the why and the how. So, if I can at least be pointed in the right direction on where to find all the info I seek, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for any help, and I'm sure ill be back with a million more questions.
